Evolutions Capable:
- Window pane / sash clearing and blowout
- Rebar Security Bar cutting
- Rebar Security Window Frame prying/removing
- Entering and exiting through window frame

Customizable to its Location:
- First Floor Training: The VES 3-in-1 Window bar allows you to add rebar to the Window Frame to act as security bars for cutting and prying the frame off. Then blowing out the window panes and sash and entering/exiting the structure via the prop.
- Second Floor Training: You have the option to order just the VES Window WITHOUT the Window Bar to train window pane and sash blowout and clearing, entering/exiting via the prop.

Prop Installation: easy to install and mount into any tower, building structure, or conex box training center. Sandwiches / Clamshells on either side of wall and bolts into itself to ensure a secure, stable fit for load bearing during entrance and exit.

Size & Dimensions:
- 32.5” H x 35” W is minimum rough opening. Flashing provided to accommodate larger dimensions.

Window Pane & Sash Blowout:

  • The window panes (10) are made of polycarbonate and can handle anything a Halligan or sledge can swing at them.

  • Shatter proof, the window panes flex to pop out and are reinstalled with minimal effort by manually popping them back in.

  • Pin the sash using wooden dowels. Utilize 1/2” to 5/8” to change the tension levels along with different types of wood.

Window Bar Prop - Frame Prying:

  • Set it with 1x2’s to pry window frame off of structure to open space further for ventilation and entrance.

  • The sash (cross beam) is set with 1/2” - 5/8” dowels and can be cammed with a Halligan or hit equally with it, a sledge, or axe.

Window Bar Prop - Rebar Cutting:

  • Mounting, rebar gauge choice, and environment of the Window Bar Prop all factor into the main goal: stressing good saw position to allow students to gain confidence in their ability to get window coverings off of any escape route.

  • Replicates a window bar with ability to attack from multiple angles and methods

  • Utilizes 1/2” - 5/8” rebar

  • Quick reset for repetitive training and technique

Resetting for Multi-Use Training: Unscrew tension levers, slide remaining length of rebar into cutting position, and retighten.

Also Mount it Vertically

The VES Window is typically mounted with the sash running horizontally. However, mounting it vertically is another viable option. When installing it, rotate the frame 90 degrees so the sash runs top to bottom.

The mechanics of breaking and raking the window and sash shift drastically when going through the evolution with a vertical sash vs. a horizontal sash. As you can see in the photo, depending on the throw of the ladder, the side the ladder resides in the evolution quickly becomes left handed vs. right handed or in other words, strong side vs. weak side.

Whichever you choose, it is something to consider in your training infrastructure and culture. And most importantly, it is an evolution you don’t want to experience the first time at an actual fire.

Now go breach some windows.
